TLT - Tempeh, Lettuce and Tomato

Lunch and Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Smoky Tempeh
  • A few pieces of lettuce (Romaine, Red Leaf, Green Leaf)
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 4 Slices whole wheat or rye bread
  • Tofu
  • Mayonaise

Directions:
Fry the Smoky Tempeh strips in a dry frying pan until browned around the edges. Meanwhile, get your bread nice and toasty. Spread the toast with the tofu mayo, layer on the tempeh strips, lettuce, tomato, salt and pepper. This sandwich is great!
